So my dear internets, This past week a tablet was passed down from on high to form a new covenant with God’s – err Jobs’ – followers creating a new digital Eden.
The official launch of the iPad during Passover/Easter weekend carried the tone of a tent revival.

“It is the coming of the new laptop!”
“The iPad will render all books in the future useless!”
“The iPad will single handedly save all print media!”
Well, praise Jesus, the holy covenant and all that. The true revelation is a resounding…
meh.

My days as a media consumer

Okay, l’ve had the same cell phone for about three years now and two weeks ago it burnt my hand. That was the end of that. I shopped around and found out that I was paying way too much for my plan anyhow and if I jumped ship I could upgrade phones for little changes in plan cost. That and I was getting asked to make more and more content for wireless consumers.
So, I bit the bullet and got an iPhone.
