Anxiety

Today, a short interlude.

I’m sure y’all wanted me to go back and finish my dry analysis of media deployment and industry focus, right? Ya, me neither.

Anyway, I was reading last weeks NYTimes and the magazine’s cover story got me. It was about naturally anxious people and, of course, the hamsters powering the windmills of my mind went into overdrive.

I pretty much have anxiety about most things; not just trans issues. In just about every situation my mind goes to the worst-case scenario. Walking the dog? Watch out he may get away, run into the street and cause a ten car pile-up.

I’ve taken to boxing up these nutty “contingency plans” into a little package and attaching it to the nearest Capra Capra Aegagrus hircus available.

Following are three such relics from deep in that inky part of my sub-conscious where no sane woman should travel less stop over for a picnic or nosh.
